Dr n. med. Tomasz Wiatr

FEBU-certified urologist (Fellow of the European Board of Urology, European Specialist Examination passed with distinction), senior assistant at the Clinical Department of Urology and Oncological Urology at the University Hospital in Kraków under the leadership of renowned specialist Prof. Piotr L. Chłosta. Since 2019, a lecturer at the Department of Urology, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków, and since 2023, head of the Urology Outpatient Clinic at the University Hospital in Kraków.

In 2022, he obtained certification in clinical andrology from the Polish Andrological Society. In 2023, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College, titled “Assessment of the efficacy of endoscopic radical prostatectomy with bladder neck preservation technique on early and long-term functional outcomes.”

He gained previous professional experience at the Department of General and Oncological Urology at the Specialist Hospital in Mielec.

A passionate surgeon specialising in laparoscopic and all minimally invasive surgical techniques. In 2019, he completed training in robotic-assisted surgery techniques (Senhance Surgical System) in Milan.

Member of the European Association of Urology (EAU), the Polish Urological Association, the Endourology and ESWL Section, the Oncological Urology Section of the Polish Urological Association, the Polish Andrological Society (PTA), and the American Society of Andrology (ASA).

He has over 13 years of experience in urology, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract cancers—particularly prostate, bladder, kidney, adrenal gland, testicular, and penile cancers—as well as urinary tract abnormalities, infections, stones, and urinary incontinence. He performs all urological surgical procedures and diagnostic interventions, including prostate fusion biopsy and flexible cystoscopy.

For more than six years, he has worked in an andrology outpatient clinic, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility, sexual dysfunction, and testosterone replacement therapy.

Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College (2002–2008). Author and co-author of publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Participant in national and international scientific conferences, including those organised by the European Association of Urology (EAU).

Completed courses at the Roztocze School of Ultrasonography in Zamość. In 2012, completed postgraduate studies in aesthetic medicine for physicians.

Privately, a husband and father to Aleksander. In his free time, he creates anatomical portraits and drawings. Passionate about art, travel, and mountain hiking.
